Physician Sessions

Creating Stronger Patients

08:30 | Dr. John Davila

Insurance companies have changed their definition of maximum medical improvement from taking patients to pre‐injury status to just bringing them to symptomatic stability. Carriers want you to prove the patient actually got the originally intended goal of care that was started at the beginning of the case. In order to do this, doctors need to produce documentation that is more than just pain-based. During this one‐hour session, we will explain why moving from a pain‐based documentation process to focus on ADL’s will make it easier to know exactly when to move through all phases of care. We’ll even cover why a properly executed discharge will improve your billing profile with insurance carriers.

Combined Session

I am the "I" in Team

02:00 | Bharon Hoag

There are many analogies about teams and how important each member of the team is to the whole. Although there is truth in that statement many times the individual opportunities that exist in the moment are lost to the greater good of the team.

In this one and half hour high energy class you will renew your desire to be the leader of your team. Whether you are the chiropractic physician or not, you have an opportunity to lead your team. What happens when each member of the team sees it as their responsibility to ensure every patient in the office understands why they are coming? What happens when it is not the doctor that leads the high energy passion for loving and serving your community?

We are living in a very special time in history. Healthcare is being rewritten, not only in the business world but in the minds of the general public. We will explore powerful things that can happen in your office to make sure your community understands what you believe, how you can serve them, and how that comes from every person on the team!
